Drumross Candle Company was founded in Spring 2019 by Sarah McAlinden & Roisin Brady. Both sisters were born and reared in the vicinity of the Mournes. The many varied scents of these mystical mountains have inspired the natural fragrances of their original handmade luxury candles.

The sisters make their candles from locally sourced materials. The soya wax is fully infused with pure essential oils which ensures a long lasting scent.

Roisin & Sarah have managed to capture the magic of the Mournes in their luxury candle range, so no matter where in the world you are, you too can experience the beauty and the ruggedness of where the mountains of Mourne sweep down to the sea.
the process
Drumross Candles are hand-poured in Rostrevor and made of all-natural ingredients - soy wax as the base, blended with natural essential oils and a cotton wick to ensure a safe clean burn. Our natural essential oils have aromatherapy benefits, so not only do they create relaxing and calming spaces, but they also enhance overall well-being,
In our opinion, the success of any candle is the wax that is used and we believe that the soya wax is the best on the market today. It is 100% soy and with the addition of carefully selected botanical oils, produces a smooth, clean and even burn pool with a great hot and cold scent throw.
This wax has given us chandlers fantastic results, with the peace of mind that it will not only create a beautiful looking candle, but it consistently produces candles that are stable and deliver exceptional burn times.

Our passion is creating interesting and intriguing earthy scented candles using only natural ingredients and sharing them with you. We hold dear our memories of exploring the Mourne Mountains throughout our childhood and this is still something we cherish today. It was obvious that we would use the tempting scents and aromas of the Mournes to inspire our collection.
By blending and testing numerous combinations of soy waxes and essential oils, we believe that we have produced five very different, unique and unforgettable candles that will connect you to this spectacular and magical place where the Mountains of Mourne sweep down to the sea.
